I only just thought it time to touch base with you fellow writers, exercisers, and fellow life enthusiasts as one year has passed–already–since my last blog entry.
On January 1, 2021, I endeavored to begin blogging daily. I was tired of NOT writing anything and thought blogging might just be what I needed to get my butt in motion again. And guess what? It most certainly did jump start the old engine of my imagination.
Each day, I blog three things: Free The Ocean of Plastic, Word of The Day, and Recipe of The Day.
Depending on what is happening in life, I’ll add other content.

The website is currently under construction as you will see. I have also endeavored to learn a bit about Computer Science (which was my first major the first time around in college back in the early 1980’s).
I figure it time to learn something that has existed in my brain’s file system for far too long without ever being accessed until now. Learning is something I thrive in. I try to learn things constantly from other humans and the world in general.
Back in 2012 when I first started this blog: ymschwartz.com, I was well into my second and third novels. None of which have been published–yet. While I wrote those thousands upon thousands of words, I gained a whole lot of mass, especially around my mid-section! Ha!
Looking back, I now know first hand what to do and what not to do. I now have a stand up desk as well as a sit down desk and several other travel desks. I have remained committed to exercise, in my case running; especially trail running up as many hills as I can comfortably ascend.
Currently I am training harder than average as I am heading into the wilderness for some serious hiking–some trail running depending on my partner.
So as you can see, I have a lot to say and have only scratched the surface.
